Leaving Stability Behind

For many years, I worked in a secure job in Northern Virginia. It was everything society told me I should want: stable, reliable, predictable. But deep down, I felt a calling for something more. I longed for a life where I could enjoy more time with my family and have the freedom to explore my passions. So, I made the bold decision to leave it all behind and move to the beach in Florida, without a job lined up, and with nothing but a vision of the life I wanted to create.

The Leap of Faith

Moving to Florida was a leap of faith. I found myself in a new place, with new challenges, and an opportunity to redefine my reality. I knew I wanted to start my own business, so I put myself out there, unafraid to ask for clients. Slowly and steadily, I began with residential cleaning and eventually transitioned to commercial cleaning. Building a business from scratch was not easy, but it was incredibly rewarding.

A Family Affair

As One Sun Commercial Cleaning started to grow, I realized I wanted my family to be part of this journey. I included them in the operation, making it our sole avenue for income. It was a chance to teach my children entrepreneurial skills and to show them the value of hard work and dedication. Now, we work together, and it has brought us closer than ever.

The Joy of Freedom

One of the greatest rewards of this journey is the time I now have for myself and my family. I am able to homeschool my children, giving me a direct role in their education. This freedom has allowed me to instill values and skills in them that they might not learn in a traditional setting. We cherish the time we spend together, exploring, learning, and growing as a family.
