Hello, lovely readers! I'm Meghan Tate, owner of One Sun Commercial Cleaning, and I wanted to share a little bit about the unique life we lead as commercial cleaners. While most people are winding down for the evening or already tucked into bed, we're just getting started. We operate in a world that's alive with its own quiet hum, a rhythm that we’ve come to embrace and love.

Living and working during these nighttime hours means we experience a life separate from much of the world. When the sun sets, a different kind of energy awakens. We share this twilight realm with other night owls—fellow commercial cleaners, police officers patrolling our communities, and the occasional traveler stopping by Buc-ee’s for gas and perhaps a delicious BBQ sandwich. There's a unique camaraderie among us, a silent acknowledgment of each other's presence in these hours when the world sleeps.

Volusia County, our home base, has its own rhythm and heartbeat, much like the waves crashing onto the shores of Central Florida. This rhythm isn't just heard; it's felt. As commercial cleaners, we’ve become part of this vibration. It’s a life of predictability but also of peace, knowing exactly what to expect each night and finding comfort in the familiar.

Our cleaning schedule is a rhythm in itself. Each account we service has a predictable flow. We know the routes we take, where to park, and the sequence of tasks we perform. There's a certain elegance to it—a dance that we've mastered over time. Whether it’s scrubbing floors, dusting surfaces, or emptying trash bins, every movement has its place in our nightly routine.

This rhythm is more than just a routine; it's a way of life. It's a comforting cadence that brings structure and balance. For us, life is a rhythm, and each night, we tune into the beat of our community and contribute to its harmony.

To all night workers out there, thank you for being part of this beautiful rhythm of life. We may operate in the shadows, but we are integral to the fabric of our community. Here’s to the quiet hours and the symphony we create together.

Until next time,Meghan Tate
